Enjoin Names Dr. James Fee as Chief Executive Officer

Accomplished physician executive’s leadership in clinical documentation integrity to help providers transitioning to value-based care

Enjoin, a physician-led clinical documentation integrity company, announced today the appointment of James Fee, M.D., CCS, CCDS, to Chief Executive Officer.

Dr. Fee is formerly vice president of Enjoin who has been with the company since 2012. His 12-year healthcare career is distinguished by his achievements in both clinical practice and clinical documentation integrity (CDI) consulting and organizational strategy and management.

“James is an outstanding leader and the right fit to spearhead our 2018 strategic growth plans and renewed commitment to servicing our clients as stewards of coding and documentation integrity through education and program development,” said Garry L. Huff, M.D., CCS, CCDS, President of Enjoin. “Enjoin is a nationally recognized brand of excellence and thought leadership in CDI.  Our focus centers on the patient rather than the place of service—now especially critical as we help clients drive improved outcomes through population health management initiatives.”

Dr. Fee is board certified in internal medicine and pediatrics and maintains a clinical practice in hospital medicine. He has extensive experience in MS-DRG management and clinical documentation improvement. Dr. Fee works closely with providers participating in value-based reimbursement models, including risk adjustment and quality measure reviews in inpatient and ambulatory settings.
