Vice President, Workforce Solutions
Sarah Laird, RHIA, CCS has more than 15 years of hospital and healthcare leadership experience. As Vice President of Workforce Solutions, Sarah is a key member of our Operations Leadership Team. She is responsible for strategic direction, administrative leadership, operational excellence, and business plan success. She works with executive leadership to advance technology-enabled operations working within and across business units.
Prior to Enjoin, Sarah led organizational improvement by introducing innovative technology-based solutions resulting in significantly increased operational efficiencies. Sarah has been successful in reorganizing and managing a coding department of 150 coders across multiple states into a more efficient structure. This increased efficiency surpassed expectations of Epic and Deloitte consultants as a “top performer, best practice” in coding metrics at Epic Go Live. Those metrics have proven sustainable due in large part to her leadership.
Sarah holds a Bachelor of Science, Health Information Administration, from Western Carolina University, and was awarded a Triumph Award for Innovation in 2017 by the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA). She was most recently elected to a three (3) year term to the AHIMA Council for Excellence in Education (CEE). Sarah is active in both state and national professional affiliations (NCHIMA and AHIMA), and has spoken on a variety of topics at both association’s annual meetings. Sarah is also a volunteer within the AAPC organization inside North Carolina and frequent speaker at various AAPC chapter meetings. She resides with her family in Greensboro, NC.
